BanDao is Mandarin Chinese for Peninsula, litterally Half-Island, the same as peninsula in Spanish and halbinsel in German.

Peninsula Engineering Group, Inc. was the first company that Ed Johnson co-founded with Dr. Barry Leff. Business travel at Peninsula Engineering and Repeater Technologies took Ed to mainland China neary forty times, Taiwan over ten times and Hong Kong over fifty times with accumulated time in Greater China of over two years. Ed has gained a deep understanding of the Chinese people in all his travels.
